Current Thoughts: Imagine if you loved yourself
Many of you have kids. Those who don’t can at least imagine what it might be like.
Do you hope your kids become diabetic or pre-diabetic?
Do you hope they develop heart disease?
Do you hope they become obese?
Do you wish them to be sedentary?
Do you wish them to be depressed? To have self esteem issues?
Do you hope they have joint pain? Do wish them to lose physical abilities?
What would you think of someone who did wish these things? What would you think of someone who promoted activities that developed these?
That would not be a very loving approach. So why do you allow the same things in yourself?
If it would be unloving to instill habits and beliefs in children that lead them to poor health, what does it mean for an adult who does the same thing to themselves?
