With Thanksgiving approaching quickly this week, we asked your NBS crew what they are most thankful for this year. Everything has been pretty crazy this year to say the very least; it’s important to reflect on what matters most! Check out what our trainers and coaches had to say about what they are thankful for:
Kaki Carter
“This year, I’m extremely thankful for my family and my friends. My family means so much to me, as well as my friends. Especially with everything that’s been going on with Covid, that we’ve been able to stay so connected and FaceTime when we’ve been able to and just really be there for one another in such a crazy time. Feeling very thankful for family and friends this year.”
Matt Hartford
“So, first and foremost, I’m really grateful just for my family. Everybody just being able to come together for Thanksgiving; everybody being healthy and safe. I’m also extremely grateful for – this year – just being able to work and that’s because of David’s leadership here. And of course, my family.”
Claire Benoist
“I’m grateful for how a lot of people pulled together during this really hard time and shown compassion in areas that you typically don’t see it. Just kinda see the more big points in life, honestly. I feel it takes us back a little bit, to make us sit and think and not have our heads stuck in 10,000 other busy places. It’s really nice. It’s really nice for a change of pace.”
David Allen
“I’m grateful for my family at home but also very grateful for my gym family that has trusted us through this crazy year of 2020. They continue to put their trust in going forward. That we’ve been able to build relationships with. We have positive impacts on them and they reciprocate that to us. I couldn’t be more thankful for both of those families in my life.”
Noah Glenn
“I guess with everything that this year has taught me, to be grateful for as much as I can. I’m grateful for NBS. I’m grateful for my family, my friends.”
Allison Johnson
“I’m thankful for a supportive family that helps me along the way with all the crazy ideas and everything I come up with. I’m also thankful for a gym family that does the same thing. This place is home away from home because I’m not from here. So, I’m really grateful for that and having friendship and having family whenever I need them.”
Brandon Reilly
“I’m thankful for the fact that even though we are in these unfortunate times right now, I’ve still got a lot of friends and family that I can still contact. All of my family is local, so being able to see them has been a lot better than a Zoom call.”
Angie Foree
“I’m thankful for my own personal, physical, and mental health. I think that the outside of my life revolves with the betterment of the inside of my life. From there, I am thankful for the physical health of my husband, my children, my grandchildren. Beyond that, I’m thankful that I’ve been able to have the opportunity – even through Covid – to maintain my client contact, to continue to train my clients, to continue to be a part of their lives so that they can continue to be better for themselves and their family members as well. It’s been a great year.”
We are grateful to have such a supportive gym family that has really stepped up to keep the gym running and our community strong. We couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for doing what you do and we look forward to a great end of the year.
Now, pass the gravy and tell us what you are grateful for (we hope we made the list)!
