Current Thoughts
It’s a simple filter — but a powerful one.
Imagine sitting down with your future self — 10, 20, maybe 30 years from now. They’ve lived with the consequences of every habit you’ve repeated, every shortcut you’ve taken, every excuse you’ve justified… and every discipline you’ve kept.
What would they say to you?
Would they thank you for building strength instead of avoiding discomfort?
Would they appreciate the daily walks, the consistent sleep, the effort to eat real food?
Would they nod at your decision to train even when it wasn’t convenient?
Or would they ask why you didn’t start sooner?
Future you isn’t impressed by your intentions. They only live with your outcomes. And they don’t care how “busy” things were — they care whether you showed up.
Things I like

Raise your hand if you’ve ever trained 3x in a week. Now keep it up if you’ve done that consistently for a month, a year, 5 years. Most people focus on the “what” when in reality, that only matter if you have the discipline to do it consistently.
Things to Check out
| Youth sports has turned into a complete failure. It’s turned children into investments and put all the emphasis on performance in place of enjoyment. And what’s the impact on their chance on becoming a “pro”? Pretty much zero. |
Have a great week!
