| Kids aren’t sponges. They’re mirrors. They soak up what we say — but more importantly, they reflect what we do.Want your kids to learn discipline? To lean into difficulty? To take ownership when things get hard?Let them see you suffer for something worth doing.Let them watch you train even when you’re tired. Let them hear you apologize when you’ve messed up. Let them witness you pursuing health, showing up for your marriage, stewarding your energy for your family, and giving your best at work — not for applause, but because it’s right.Tell them it’s hard. Then show them it’s worth it.Your example is the curriculum they’re studying every day. So teach them how to do hard things — not by demanding it from them, but by demonstrating it yourself. |
