This applies to both acute situations and chronically, meaning exercise improves your brain function immediately afterwards and in a cumulative effect into the future.

The problem: more than 75% of Americans don’t meed the minimum recommended guidelines for exercise.

They’re making decisions, solving problems, and attempting to pay attention with less blood flow and oxygen to their biological computer. Considering we live in community instead of isolation, that doesn’t bode well for society as a whole.
