8/11/25: Information Diet, the price of life, navy seals

We all know that what we eat shapes our health. A steady stream of processed foods and will eventually catch up to you — no matter how “good” your metabolism is. But we rarely apply that same logic to what we feed our minds.

Think of your information diet the same way you’d think about your food intake. Are you filling your mind with stressful headlines, gossip, clickbait, and unhealthy conversations? Or are you feeding it thoughtful content and conversation that sharpens your mind and strengthens your values?

Your mental inputs create your internal environment. What you consume consistently becomes what you think, how you feel, and ultimately how you act. Junk in, junk out.

So just like your physical diet, maybe it’s time to step back and ask: How’s my information diet? And is it leading me toward the kind of person I want to become?

Title 3

In case you’re feeling a little sorry for yourself, this video about Navy SEALs will snap you out of it fast. Perspective is powerful — and a little discomfort might be exactly what you need.
