Current Thoughts: Physique Isn’t a Goal, It’s a By Product
The most common fitness goal is “Lose Weight”. Makes total sense. 80% plus of Americans are overweight so the desire to lose weight lines up. Why then d0 90% of people who lose weight put it back on then?
Answer the following question: I want to look like someone who…
…is strong, works out, eats healthy, prioritizes their fitness, is capable, is confident?
Physique improvements are the down stream effects of whatever actions and habits we maintain. Looking like you’ve been training and eating healthy for several years is the by product of regularly training and eating healthy for several years.
The take away: set goals based off of the actions and habits you need to perform. Form follows function.
Things I Like: Kefir

Keeping on the gut health theme, this is a product I’ve been adding to my shakes. More healthy gut bacteria plus is adds a little volume to the shake. Be sure to get the plain favorite, no added sugars.
Things To Check Out: Suffering is a Gift
When I did the 29029 challenge in 2022, I remember one of the coaches saying that suffering is gift because it gives you an advantage. Check it out. What I notice is the more suffering someone has been able to endure, the more grateful they are. They never complain and are always smiling. This dude lives in a cabin in the woods in Russia that gets down to -91 degrees! Talk about the ability to suffer. God grant me the ability to suffer well and give me the opportunity to suffer more so that my gratitude and thankfulness may be increased.
Have a great week!
